Pet Vaccinations
Vaccinations play an important role in protecting pets against preventable infectious diseases and form part of responsible, ongoing preventative healthcare.
Vaccination requirements can differ depending on factors such as your pet's age, vaccination history, lifestyle and individual risk. Your veterinarian is best placed to advise you on the appropriate vaccination programme and when boosters may be required.
The schedules below are provided for general information as an example of a vaccination protocol based on Vanguard's vaccination programme. They are not intended to replace the advice or vaccination protocol of your veterinarian.
Puppy Vaccination Protocol
A series of vaccinations from 6–8 weeks up to 16 months helps build your puppy's own immunity as mum's fades out.

Booster Schedule
Cat Vaccination Protocol
Vanguard Feline 3 and Vanguard Feline 4 are currently known as Felocell 3 and Felocell 4. Vanguard Rabies 3 is still known as Defensor 3.

Vaccination is not a once-off event. Keeping your pet's vaccinations and boosters up to date is an important part of their ongoing preventative healthcare.
